Building Estimate Excel sheet Step by Step Guide

Dear Friend, we calculate building Estimate Excel Sheet quantities manually on paper. Therefore, we will discuss how to do so in Excel using the long and short wall methods.

The estimation sheet makes it very simple to calculate the long wall and short wall methods. An easy solution is provided in this estimation excel sheet using Excel formulas. A construction cost estimate template Excel sheet is also included in this article. I ask that you do that.

Plastics and resins are found in laminates. Some resins release dangerous gases. In this article, we perform the following step-by-step calculations.

Building Estimate Excel Sheet

Before beginning any construction project, it is processed by estimating the likely cost of a project by calculating the number of materials and their cost with the aid of market rates.

A person who calculates the materials, labour, and equipment required to complete a construction project is known as a building or cost estimator.

1. Excavation

Finding Excavation Based on a Drawing

Footing excavation work requires several drawings, including section and footing location drawings. Please see all drawings in the format below, which shows a step-by-step building estimation.

In this plan, 11 footings are as per drawing.

Length = 0.6m + 1.0m + 0.6m = 2.20m

Here 0.6 m is working space in footing for both sides.

And,1.0 m = footing size

The copy of the excel sheet for the building estimate is in the table format shown below.

2. Footing P.C.C.

How to Determine Footing P.C.C. Based on Drawing

In this plan, 11 footings are as per drawing.

Length = 0.15m + 1.0m + 0.15m = 1.30m

Here 0.15 m = P.C.C. working space in footing for both sides.

And,1.0 m = footing size

3. Footing R.C.C.

How to Determine Footing R.C.C. Based on Drawing

Eleven footings in this plan match the drawing exactly.

Length = 1.0m = 1.0m

Here Height = 0.450 m

And, 1.0 m = footing size

4. Column up to Plinth Level R.C.C.

How to Find R.C.C. Columns Up to the Fifth Level According to a Drawing

Eleven footings in this plan match the drawing exactly.

Length = 0.230 m, Breadth = 0.230 m

Here Height = 1.05 m

5. Backfilling

How to Find Backfilling according to a Drawing

Footing backfilling qty for 11 Qty

Length & Breadth = 2.2 m, Height Footing Bottom to ground level = 1.580 mm

Backfilling = Excavation – Footing P.C.C – Column R.C.C

Plinth Beam Backfilling

Height of backfilling = 0.600 m

Total plinth beam backfilling = Total Area – Plinth beam

6. Plinth Beam R.C.C.

How to Find the R.C.C. of a Plinth Beam from a Drawing

Lintel Beam

As per lintel beam drawing, L-1 = 3 nos., L-2 = 4 nos., L-3 = 3 nos., L- 4 = 1 nos, L-5 = 1 nos of qty and length

and beam size = 0.230 m x 0.600 m

7. Grae Slab R.C.C.

How to Find a Gray Slab R.C.C. Based on a Drawing

Grae Slab RCC = ( Total Length x Total Breadth x Thickness ) – Column

Grae Slab RCC = ( 10.240 x 7.690 x 0.100 ) – ( 11 x 0.230 x 0.230 x 0.100)

Grae Slab RCC = ( 7.87 ) – (0.06)

Grae Slab RCC = 7.82 Cu.m.

8. Column Up to Slab Level R.C.C.

How to Find a Gray Slab R.C.C. Based on a Drawing

Column Length & Breadth= 0.230 m

Height = Ground Slab – Ground Floor – Slab Beam

Height = 3 – 0 – 0.350 = 2.650 m

Elevation

Brick masonry calculation uses a Long wall and Short wall method.

All length as per drawing and height = 3.00 m – 0.35 m = 2.65 m.
